    Aphasia Now is run and maintained by aphasic people and we say:

  • I have difficulty with speaking, understanding, reading and writing.
  • I can't always find the words, although I know what I want to say.
  • I find it hard to concentrate for long.
  • There may be a delay before I can reply to a question.
  • Sometimes I get frustrated when people do not give me enough time to say what I want to say or finish my sentence for me.
