Aphasia therapy software Review - Part I
'React'
This is an easy to use language program devised in collaboration with speech and language therapists. The tasks are interactive with verbal and written instructions. The exercises are based around pictures, words and video clips. Visual and auditory rewards are given for each task. There is also a built-in record keeping facility (on the clinical version only) to monitor improvements made over time.
Its more of a language stimulation package than a therapy program.
There are 5 sections: auditory processing (including listening comprehension), visual processing (including reading comprehension), semantics, memory /sequencing and lifeskills.
Within each of these are sub-sections which are then broken down into exercises. There are 10-20 items in each of the exercises.
