The purpose of our group is to practice everyday communication skills in a supportive environement, connect with other with others with aphasia, and to increase confidence for community participation
Jenny Dautlich, a retired doctor and who is aphasic through stroke, chairs the group
The group is supported by qualified therapists and artists.

'GlosSpeak' - Gloucester
Monthly self-help group
'Glos-Speak' was founded in 2001 by people living with aphasia and is run by its members and supported by family members.
We are a friendly and supportive group with about 10 members.
We meet once a month and provide members with companionship, help and support.
We aim to raise awareness through our website & group leaflet.
What we do:
- We have regular guest speakers
- Outings
In May of 2007 some of us went on a cruise to the Norwegian Fjords.
